Our distillates are more than just products - they are the result of a passionate dedication to flavour and quality. From intensely juniper-flavoured dry gin to Caribbean rum, matured in barriques and completely additive-free, to traditional single malt whisky - we create varieties that we ourselves like best, often outside the mainstream.
But the opinions of connoisseurs and experts also count for us, especially in blind tastings. Since our first bottling, their ratings have confirmed year after year that our spirits are among the best in their category.

Smoky, root vegetables, a touch of yuzu. Tartness and density. Sweetness and citrus on the palate, dropping off to leave the tartness behind. Yet balanced, smooth, and fresh. Yuzu and other tangerine-like citrus notes.

Beautiful ester notes, fruit enveloped by wood, dried banana, and vanilla cream. Alcohol beautifully integrated, vanilla intermingled with caramel. Fruity, with a touch of chocolate on the finish.
MAUND RUM PORT PINOT Swiss Spirits Review 2023 - Silver Award
Fruity, apples, baked apple, toffee, very intense with plenty of wood. High typicity, cocoa, coffee, and lots of vanilla. The intensity persists on the palate, where the wood harmonizes with the fruit flavors. The lack of sweetness allows the palate to discern highly precise notes of cocoa, coffee, vanilla, a touch of leather, and nut. An honest rum that promises true drinking pleasure.
MAUND WHISKY „Single Malt“ Swiss Spirits Review 2023 - GOLD
Amber, medium intensity on the nose (honey, vanilla). Initial sweetness and some interesting (almost menthol-like?) flavors emerge on the palate. Medium finish, very interesting. Lightly smoky nose with honey and bright red fruits; honey joins in on the palate, accompanied by more red berries and a subtly sweet note. Long finish with balanced complexity and sweetness that comes through in waves.

MAUND JAMAICA RUM Swiss Rum Award 2020 – GOLD
Dark, warm amber. Typical, pleasant rum-raisin aromatic profile on the nose. Sweet and spicy on the palate, with notes of coconut and banana, straightforward and clean. Tannins beautifully integrated, with a very long and harmonious finish.
MAUND RUM PORT PINOT Vinum Award 2020 Certificate of Excellence
Highly spicy nose with plenty of vanilla, crème brûlée, and chocolate-covered banana. Roasted and grated nuts, as well as a hint of cocoa. The palate presents as somewhat more typical, bright and fresh with ripe plantains. Nougat and dark chocolate. Powerful wood spice and a long finish with subtle hints of rancio. French style.

Broad aroma of raisins and wood on the nose. Very powerful and spicy, yet a wine-like freshness can also be discerned. Roasted nuts and wood aromas emerge on the palate, harmonizing beautifully with the raisins. Long, broad finish.

Nose of apples carried by a hint of smokiness, combined with caramel, vanilla, and oak, all typical of bourbon cask maturation. Rich, juicy body on the palate, with the expected interplay of fruity aromas, malt, honey, and a touch of smoke and peat. nice one! Nose of dried fruits, vanilla, and caramel. Subtle hints of Jamaica. Complex. Full-bodied on the palate, powerfully spicy, highly pleasing. Low sweetness, very natural. Long, everlasting finish.
MAUND RUM PORT PINOT Swiss Awards 2019 - Top 15 Rum in Switzerland
A very fine dram. Slightly woody, fruity, nutty, with a touch of pepper and tobacco on the finish, evocative of an "Asian spice shop". On the palate, light notes of green wood emerge. Absolutely honest and straightforward, not engineered.

MORRIS DRY GIN ÖGZ Gin Tasting 2017 – BEST GIN 2017
MBalanced between the Alps and England for the win. "Raspberry meets pepper,"... A freshness reminiscent of cucumber, and a well-measured power that balances in a complex layer between pepper, roses, and herbs. The complexity came through beautifully in the long drink as well.
