OUR INSPIRATION
John Oakley Maund
Alpinist, adventurer, banker, bohemian, member of the British Alpine Club,
Europ's first Alpine club.
At the end of the 19th century, J.O. Maund built the "Maund Villas" in Switzerland and Austria as the starting point for his adventures in the Wild Alps.
William Morris
Architect, Designer, Poet, co-founder of the "Arts and Crafts Movement" in England in the middle of the 19th century. According to his plans, J.O. Maund's villas were built exclusively by regional master craftsmen.

Hellfire Touring Club
Paul Renner infamous artist, painter, actionist, dandy, grand master of the mysterious Hellfire Touring Club, resided a decade at Villa Maund.
